COMPLAINTS IN RELATION TO THE CONTENT

  1. With a vision of creating a niche of Marathi Films, Arts and Culture across the world map, endeavours to package the rich content and aesthetics of Marathi Arts and Entertainment in an exclusive, unique & contemporary way which has lead to us, PLANET MARATHI. At the same time, we are aware that freedom of expression and speech and the creative license come with the accountability and adherence to the robust standards in the content being offered to our viewers.

  2. In tandem with the approach and the accountability, we have set up a monitoring body, the Content Regulation Team, which would scrutinize all the content, prior to its publishing and / or telecasting and / or streaming ensuring about the content complying with the applicable laws of the land and is also trying to keep up with globally accepted standards. However, as You are aware to err is human and that nobody is perfect, we need Your help.

  3. If You have any complaints in relation to any of the content or User Material(s), then you can point it out to us for the specific attention of our Grievance Officer, Mr Sunil Bodhankar via email to [email protected] We require the information in relation to the content in respect of which You are asking us to pay attention to as Your Complaint in the following manner:

  4. Your (Complainant) Name.

  5. Your e-mail address.

  6. Your username / login ID.

  7. Title of the Content (with the URL for accessing / streaming the said content).

  8. Nature and details of the complaint:

  9. Timestamps of the objectionable part in the content in respect of which the complaint is being filed in [HH-MM-SS] – [HH-MM-SS] format.

  10. Proposed action being suggested by You to be taken by us and / or relief being requested of by You from us.

  11. A complaint without Your signature, either digital or physical (in writing), would not be considered. If Your username / login ID and the email address do not match, then the Complaint may not be considered. We may further request You for any additional information, as may be reasonably required, to resolve Your complaint.

  12. Planet Marathi would generate an acknowledgement of receipt of the complaint within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of the complaint. The decision in respect of the action being taken or reliefs being given by us, Planet Marathi, would be appropriately replied to You within fifteen (15) working days from the date of receipt of the complaint. Depending on the nature of Your complaint, additional time may be required by Planet Marathi. You may withdraw Your complaint at any point of time prior to its productive and positive resolution. On withdrawal or on abandonment, the complaint would be deemed to be disposed-of.

  13. As part of resolution, Planet Marathi may, upon receipt and examination of the complaint, take any or multiple of the following measures which are enumerative and not exhaustive in nature, as applicable and depending on the nature of the Complaint:

  14. Reclassify age rating of relevant content;

  15. Insert Warning and / or Disclaimer in the content descriptors;

  16. Modulate the synopsis of the content under scrutiny.

  17. If Your grievances remain unresolved by us, the Publisher, within 15 days from the receipt of the complaint, you may approach Digital Publishers Content Grievances Council (DPCGC), being the Level-II Self-Regulatory Body established for the Publishers under the guidance of IAMAI for the redressal framework for Online Curated Content [OCC] Publishers in the backdrop of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
